A youth mission team from First Christian Church in Washington went to New Your City June 2-7, 2002.  They planned their trip through Forward Edge International, an organization that provides mission opportunities throughout the world.

While in New York, the group worked at the Love Gospel Assembly “love kitchen” and after school program, the Abounding Grace after school program, at Madison Square Garden assisting with planning for a Sept. 11, 2002 program; and at Ground Zero.  In between work, the group enjoyed sightseeing and attending two Broadway plays.
