A group of eleven men left First Christian Church, Washington, NC on Saturday November 12, 2005.  The mission team traveled to Moss Point Disciples of Christ Church in Moss Point, Louisiana to replace shingles on the church.  The group purchased the shingles, repaired destruction from Hurricane Katrina and nailed new shingles on the church.  The church was serving as a mission station for missionary groups.  Although only a couple of team members had very limited experience with shingling, the team was able to accomplish the mission.  Other mission workers who were staying at the church commented that this was the most coordinated and task focused shingling team that they had ever seen.  They could not believe the team didn't have shingling experience.  The group returned on Friday November 18, 2005. Grover Boyd was the leader of the mission team.
