The First Christian Church Youth Mission Team traveled to Covington, Louisiana on June 17, 2005 to muck out houses that were left in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in September of 2005. The team worked on two houses in New Orleans. One group helped Mrs. Ethel Schaff clear the trash from her home. The other team worked with Mr. Mike Macatee in New Orleans to clear his home.
